From Ballarat, the Great Grape Touring Route heads north-west. Here you’ll be introduced to the spectacular scenery of the Pyrenees Mountain Range which hugs the townships of Avoca and Moonambel – the heart of the Pyrenees Wine Region and home to some of Victoria’s best loved ‘big reds’.
Alternatively head directly west along the Western Highway towards Ararat, where you’ll discover the picturesque vineyards of the Grampians Wine Region. It is here that you will find Great Western, producers of Australia’s first and arguably best known sparkling wine.
